About me

Smiling middle-aged woman with gray hair against a blue background.

Terri Grier

At Deep Waters Life Network, I walk alongside people navigating some of life's deepest waters—betrayal, relational rupture, recovery, grief, and seasons of profound change—as they move toward healing, restoration, and wholehearted living.

I believe the deep waters do not have to be the end of your story. They can become sacred places where truth is faced, wounds are tended, capacity is strengthened, and God meets us with His presence and leads us toward something new.

My role is to create a compassionate, truth-centered space where you can be supported and challenged as you heal, grow, and become more fully who God created you to be.

The deep waters are not the end of your story.
God is with you there.

Whole. Loved. Redeemed.

Meet Terri

I am a Certified Life Coach through Life Purpose Institute (CLC) and a Certified Christian Life Coach through Life Mentoring School, with specialized training in betrayal trauma, sexual addiction recovery, group facilitation, and couple-centered recovery.

My connection to this work is also personal. I am a military wife and a betrayed partner who has walked my own healing journey. That experience ultimately led me to pursue professional training and develop the work that has become Deep Waters Life Network.

My personal experience informs my compassion, but it does not define another person's story. I believe each person's circumstances, relationships, faith journey, and path forward deserve to be approached with dignity and care.

Today, I continue to invest in specialized education and professional development that strengthens the work I do with individuals and relationships impacted by betrayal and addiction.

How I approach coaching...

I am a Certified Christian Life Coach through Life Mentoring School, and my training in Causal Coaching has shaped the way I listen, ask questions, and help clients explore what is happening beneath the surface.

Causal Coaching looks beyond the immediate circumstance or behavior to explore the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, patterns, and protective strategies influencing how we respond to ourselves, God, and others. Rather than simply asking, “How do I fix this?” we become curious about “What is happening within me, and what is driving the way I am responding?”

This work is collaborative. I don't approach coaching as the person who holds all the answers. I listen carefully, ask meaningful questions, offer observations and practical tools, and help create space for greater awareness, discernment, and personal responsibility.

As a Christian coach, I also believe our deepest understanding of ourselves is grounded in something greater than self-discovery. Our identity begins with God. Scripture, prayer, and sensitivity to the work of the Holy Spirit becomes part of the coaching process as we examine what is true and consider how God may be inviting us to respond.

Over time, we begin recognizing the difference between patterns developed from fear, shame, self-protection, or old narratives and the increasingly authentic way of living that comes from truth, maturity, integrity, and identity in Christ.

The goal isn't simply insight.

It is embodied transformation—learning to live differently because something within us is genuinely becoming different.
